The goal of this project was to talk to firearms owners without making it a conversation about politics or talking points. As anyone who has a pulse knows, there is enough data, statistics and speculations on both sides of the issue when it comes to firearms and gun control in America. I wanted to sit down with firearms owners and ask the same set of questions. I wanted to better understand why people choose to have firearms and how they play a part in their lives. These are excerpts from interviews I had with members of Ohio University Second Amendment Club, a student run social club that meets weekly to talk about firearms and other related subject matter.
