The Easy Riders Rodeo is a national biker rally that makes stops all over the country. The rodeo is a chance for bikers and bike enthusiasts to let loose and enjoy the culture. I decided to document the rodeo in Chillicothe Ohio; which took place on labor day weekend. The rodeo features stage shows, biker contests, and at night a bounty of beer, bare chested women, and drunken debauchery.
The Hancock Village School was one of the last one room school houses in the country still in operation. These are some photos I took for a storry for the Randolph Herald about the last day of school in this old vermont schoolhouse. The school has closed its doors for good due to budget cuts to the Vermont school system. The children may move on to schools farther away but the memories and lessons they learned in this small town schoolhouse will stick with them.
Dawn 2 Dusk is a yearly event put on the Scripps School of Visual Communication. Anyone who wants to participate and photograph on the designated day can submit pictures for consideration in the final publication that is printed in the Athens News. This years theme was fall in Athens County. I woke up at 5:30 and chased the light until I ended up in at a farm Guyville. These are some of my selects. Enjoy.
This past Fall quarter I took a class taught by William Schneider, a Photoshop Jedi. For homework Bill had the class design 5 creative assignments on various subject matter throughout the quarter. The goal was to have the class express concepts visually without the use of text, illustrations you may see alongside an article in a magazine for example. These are the pieces I submitted for class. My many thanks to the models who made the magic happen.
Good ole fashioned street photography, plain and simple. These are images made in and around New York City. Shot with a Fuji X-E2 with a Nikon adapter. This is a small mirrorless rig which fuses old camera design aesthetics with new tech. The current setup requires all manual adjustments while working through an electronic viewfinder. It's a fun lil contraption to say the least.
