About
I am a student of Photojournalism at Ohio University. I started at The Herald of Randolph, a small weekly in my home state of Vermont. I have had the good fortune of working for the independent student newspaper at Ohio University, The Post. While working for The Post I have been a Staff Photographer, Picture Editor and Director of Photography.
I have been fortunate to have many people teach me a lot about what makes a good photojournalist. The key to being a good photojournalist, in my view, is consistency. My aim is to treat every assignment and the people I meet with respect and gratitude. I always work to bring back photos that are not only accurate to what I have witnessed, but also to provide compelling images that make people want to stop and look. This is my primary focus every time I pick up the camera.
This site is a compendium of the work I have done throughout my photographic career. It's a tribute to all who have helped me and let me into their lives, if only for a brief instant.
